Founding Story & Commitment to Honest Skincare
Verdelume began after years of buying skincare with ingredient lists that seemed designed to confuse rather than inform. Blend names hid what was actually in the bottle, and it was hard to tell a genuine botanical extract from a diluted one. We wanted to make products where the label told the whole story.
That meant working directly with small producers who could tell us exactly which plant, region and harvest an ingredient came from, and building in a colour, scent and texture check on every batch before it leaves our workshop. Nothing is packed on trust alone.
We also wanted buying skincare to feel straightforward: clear pricing with no hidden retail markups, a tracked parcel from the moment it leaves us, and a real person answering the phone or email if something needs sorting out.
Plain Labelling
We list every ingredient by its real name, not a marketing blend. If we can't explain what something does, it doesn't go in the bottle.
Small Batches
We produce in smaller runs so nothing sits in storage losing freshness. It costs us more in effort, but it keeps quality steady.
Direct Responsibility
We pack and dispatch our own orders rather than outsourcing to a faceless warehouse. If something goes wrong, we are the ones who answer for it.
We started Verdelume because we were tired of long ingredient lists nobody could explain to us. Every product we sell is chosen for what is actually in it, and checked again before it reaches your door.
